OMIS MARINE INSPECTION SERVICES LIMITED (OMIS) is an inspection company incorporated on 22nd day of September, 2025, with registration number RC 8848302 in accordance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to undertake business in the areas of cargo superintendence, marine survey, commodity inspection and stock management, oil and gas inspection and allied services.

Our company is wholly indigenous independent quantity and quality control Company with our practices in inspection, testing, certification and verification of a wide range of allied products in the industry. Our existence of an approximately 25 years from our previous company in the core practice of inspection services with local and international companies that spreads from Africa regions, Asia, Europe, North/South America and Australia, we delivered special services to our numerous clienteles among them are importers, ship owners, shipping agents, cargo underwriters, protective agents, cargo superintendent and charterers.

With quality and integrity as a phenomenon of the company, our management and staff strength are state-of-the-art with regular annual training and re-training program ensuring sustainable services of international standards and quality assurance procedures. Our experiences are undoubtedly the key to the enablement in satisfying our valuable clientele with our expertise both on the field and administrative operations. The company’s association with P & I Club gives us an edge over our competitors in the protection and settlement of claims.

Over the years our customers list has evolved to about 380 companies among them are shippers, freight forwarders, insurance firm, Bulk Carriers and allied. These are basically inspection on commodities, crude oil, petroleum refined products, P & I, cargo superintendent, offshore and onshore logistics, ship chartering and survey, hull and machinery, general cargo, bunker survey, to mention but a few of our services. On a yearly record, we project to handling averagely 80 million barrels of Nigeria light crude oil (NLCO) while we achieved handling 385-400 thousand metric tons of refined petroleum products and 850 thousand metric tons of dry cargo and a wide range of other services.
